My guy Obama is on the grind lately. I was on the fence with the candidates for a long time, but after the last few rounds of debates and what-not, I find myself wanting this dude to be my Prez. I do think this “Yes We Can” vid is kind of wacky though. Thoughts?

Ingrid Michaelson

Chances are, you’ve all heard the music of Ingrid Michaelson without even knowing it. She’s the woman behind the “sweater” song being featured on the new Old Navy commercials, and her songs have also been featured on Grey’s Anatomy. I really enjoy her music and the texture of her voice. Plus, her album Boys and Girls has been on constant repeat on my ipod for the past week– that’s a solid sign for me that an artist is legit. I know I’ve been a terrible blogger lately (or the last two months). But I’m back and ready to fill y’all in on the chaos that has been my life. However, before I get into all that I need to share this crazy video with all of you.

This guy is unreal. We’ve all seen the bike videos where, even though we can’t do anything remotely similar, we still only find ourselves wow’ed by a few tricks and the rest is just boring. This video is nothing like that– this Keo guy is ridiculous. I’ve never seen anyone else do stuff like this on a bike– insane. Watch and enjoy.

Chromeo @ Sing Sing!

So last Friday was the 1st Anniversary of Sing Sing, at The War Room and it was quite the night ladies and gents! It got started off right with Pretty Titty & FOURCOLORZACK holding it down. Then on to Flosstradamus and finally ending with an amazing performance by Chromeo. They are so dreamy. Anyhow, it was quite the night if I may say so myself, and I haven’t danced that hard in a long time! Team Savory (with the lovely Shelbs and JR) were out and in full force, and we definitely managed to be completely on point and completely out of pocket all at the same time. We’re amazing like that. There were lots of shots, donkey punches, year 2000 playlists, KA’ing, and “if you aint got no money take your broke ass home” yelling spouts. It was outrageous, and a small sampling of pics can be seen here. More photos to be posted soon.

Scootas Revisited…

So most of you probably saw this youtube clip back when it was posted over at Publikhair.com. BUT, I laugh at it everytime I see it, so I thought I’d give it some more blog time– and I needed to shout out Anthony for providing the inspiration to blog tonight. You guys will definitely be the first ones invited to the NASCC…when and if they have one, haha. I’ll let you wrap your brains around that acronym on your own, haha. Where can I get me some of that Lip Gloss?! Lil Mama’s bout to drop a cosmetics line– I’m calling it. This vid is hilarious to me, I don’t even know what to make of it.
