Goodbye Seattle!

February 2, 2008

Thank you to everyone who made it out for my going-away get together at 611 last Saturday! It was great to see all of you under the same roof– very reminiscent of summertime. And wonderful to see your faces one last time before I migrated South for the winter. Here are a few flicks from the night, courtesy of Salts’ flickr page. I’ll miss all of you, but anxiously await your visits to the beautiful Bay area!

San Francisco

January 26, 2008

It’s been well over two months since my last blog (I know, I know) and in that two months a lot has happened in the life of Jenna. Namely a long-term and rather intense interview process, culminating with a great offer and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

So with that being said, I should let you all know (if you don’t know already) that I’ll be leaving Seattle on the 3oth of January and moving to wonderful San Francisco. I’ve accepted an offer with Apple to be a Program Coordinator for their Campus Rep program, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s exactly what I want to be doing with myself right now, and everything so far has fallen together flawlessly! I received my official offer letter/packet a few days back and below are some photos. You have no idea how exciting it is to get a stark white folder in the mail, where the first page just says “Welcome to Apple.” It’s been a long-time coming, and I can’t wait to get down there and start throwing myself into my work! And I look forward to all of your visits, as well!

Super fly, huh? Haha. SO, I figured if The Pubs can get lighters– Fresh P can get skatedecks and graphic T’s, right?! hahaha. SIKE. Steven over at Trickwood (go visit their online store and buy some stuff!) brightened my afternoon by sending over some fake mock-ups for Fresh P merchandise. How funny is that? haha. So don’t worry, I’m not seriously hocking merch over here! But thanks Steven– you’re my favorite.

Bill Clinton at UBS

October 26, 2007

For anyone who is interested, former President Bill Clinton will be doing a book signing at the University Book Store on University Way in the Udistrict next Thursday, November 1st. Times and details have yet to be confirmed because it was just announced today, but you can find more info as it becomes available at the UBS blog, The Shelf Life.

Winner’s Circle

October 26, 2007

The new Winner’s Circle is looking real nice, so head over there and give them your money. The new location is at; 1353 E. Olive Way, Seattle, WA 98122 (Melrose & Olive). If you need to hit them up; 206.860.6879. They have a real nice new set-up, with some great men’s and women’s stock for F/W.

Photos courtesy of BLAH BLOG where you can also find pics of the inventory. Check it.

Some of my favorite fatties got so tired of me not updating my blog, that they started their own. It’s called Not Today Fatty, and it’s pretty lame. If Fresh Produce were to endorse another blog, it probably wouldn’t be this one… but it’s worth checking out anyhow.

Sike. It’s pretty funny, so go check out their site and give them some hits. Not Today Fatty.

Keo

October 7, 2007

I know I’ve been a terrible blogger lately (or the last two months). But I’m back and ready to fill y’all in on the chaos that has been my life. However, before I get into all that I need to share this crazy video with all of you.

This guy is unreal. We’ve all seen the bike videos where, even though we can’t do anything remotely similar, we still only find ourselves wow’ed by a few tricks and the rest is just boring. This video is nothing like that– this Keo guy is ridiculous. I’ve never seen anyone else do stuff like this on a bike– insane. Watch and enjoy.

Chromeo @ Sing Sing!

July 23, 2007

So last Friday was the 1st Anniversary of Sing Sing, at The War Room and it was quite the night ladies and gents! It got started off right with Pretty Titty & FOURCOLORZACK holding it down. Then on to Flosstradamus and finally ending with an amazing performance by Chromeo. They are so dreamy. Anyhow, it was quite the night if I may say so myself, and I haven’t danced that hard in a long time! Team Savory (with the lovely Shelbs and JR) were out and in full force, and we definitely managed to be completely on point and completely out of pocket all at the same time. We’re amazing like that. There were lots of shots, donkey punches, year 2000 playlists, KA’ing, and “if you aint got no money take your broke ass home” yelling spouts. It was outrageous, and a small sampling of pics can be seen here. More photos to be posted soon.

That’s right, another May Baby is celebrating birth today and we’d like to wish Mr. JR Ewing of Seattle a super Happy Birfday! You know he’ll be keeping it real peddy today. L3SO style. So all hot underage females head over to Winner’s Circle and buy some gear– he’ll be waiting for you. If you see this guy give him a hug and buy him a drink. And come out to this show at Neumo’s where he’ll be celebrating. And just in case you were worried that JR was trying to kidnap me in this picture, notice the behind-the-back peace sign… it’s all jokes, folks.

Back in Business

May 21, 2007

After a mini (and quite unintentional) blog hiatus, I’m back in business. A little bit of housekeeping– this guy had a birthday yesterday and we here at Fresh Produce hope it was a good one. We know, at the very least, that his Birthday Lunch was off the hook…..

Publikhair.com

April 30, 2007

I got a little love today over at Publikhair.com (via my previous mention on Pheed.net) and thought I would return the favor. It almost seems silly, though, because my ‘following’ is not on the same level. But regardless, thanks to my Seattle male counterpart for the shout. Check out his blog, and go here to help pay his bills.
